I look forward to our school breaks so much more now that Crew is in Kindergarten! There is nothing better than ditching all responsibilities back home and going somewhere fun with the whole family. We went to Newport with some friends of ours that we love dearly! We went last year to Ventura, CA with them during spring break, so this year we decided Newport was a better fit since it was a bit closer. We found an airbnb that fit all of us (6 adults & 9 kids!) and had a blast. It was my first time in Newport and I'm already excited to go back. I love this yearly tradition we've made! Our friends are moving to Oahu in May, so next spring break we are all headed to Hawaii. The best part about trips is planning another trip to look forward to.
We are lucky that all of the kids get along and really have fun together...minus Pete. He and his cute friend Marley play well, but this trip was a bit rough for Peter boy. Just a lot of personality in that tiny body of his!
Day 1 we all arrived at the same time and headed straight for the beach. Then we grabbed dinner and let the kids play while we all unpacked and planned the rest of the week.
